Pickard China, one of America's finest china companies, has announced the opening of a New York showroom in the Merchandise Mart at 41 Madison Avenue.
"The decision to open a New York showroom is part of an aggressive five year strategic plan to enhance the brand to our customer and consumer base, and to develop new business opportunities while maintaining the legacy on which Pickard is built," states Eben Morgan, President of Pickard China. "The last five years have been very productive, and we have continued to build a very sound foundation for Pickard products, having increased our sales by 100%. We will continue to build on this success with a stronger marketing presence and development of new product directives. Our showroom will be located on the 9th floor in the Merchandise Mart at 41 Madison Avenue in New York City.
"One of the first phases of the five year initiative we have outlined for the company was to bring Rick Morgan on board as Vice President. He represents the fourth generation of the Pickard family to be involved in the business. Since joining Pickard, Rick has already begun to develop and implement new marketing plans which will enable us to achieve both our long-term and short-term goals for the company," adds Mr. Morgan.
